In Uppsala Music school she was in charge of the whole chorus organization with several choruses that performed in concerts, church services, and at special occasions. They set up musicals, child theatre and went on different tours all around Europe. Her girl-chorus “De Visa”, which consisted of girls ages 13-19 received international recognition at several chorus contests and festivals. Kia has also worked with adult choruses, both mixed choruses and only women. Kia is married to Per and has children Anna Maria, 8 years old, a student in Nybyggarna, and Mattias, 4 years old.
